By making a booking via any media you are accepting these terms and conditions:

You accept full responsibility for any charges incurred for your room/s during your stay. You understand and accept that Harbour View Lodge 2013 Ltd does not accept any liability for any damages, losses or injuries that may occur during your stay at the Lodge or at the Breakwater Apartments. You also understand and accept that Harbour View Lodge does not accept liability for any damages or losses that may occur to any vehicles. You accept that you are personally liable for payment of any damage to the rooms or property both malicious or accidental by yourself or your guests/visitors and that any remaining balances are to be finalised on your credit card or billed to you if the card declines. Should you or your guests/visitors be disruptive you accept that you/they/all must leave the premise and no refund will be given.

Payments via Credit Card

There is a 2% surcharge on any payments when using Visa or MasterCard credit cards.

There is a 3.5% on any payments when using Amex - American Express credit card.

Booking Cancellation Policy

The guest can cancel free of charge until 3 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if

they cancel in the 3 days before arrival.

Unaccompanied Minors

All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent, step-parent, guardian or other adult who has parental rights and responsibilities for the under 18 year old guest and is themselves over the age of 18 years old.

  1. No children under the age of 14 can be left alone or unattended on the Harbour View and Breakwater properties under New Zealand Law. Parental guardians will be responsible for administrating this. If guests need baby-sitting services this will need to be arranged by the guests through their own preferred carer. There are no onsite babysitting services.
  2. If a guest is found to be a person under the age of 18 who is not accompanied by a responsible adult Harbour View and or Breakwater Apartments may immediately cancel the guest’s booking and the full booking amount will be forfeited to Harbour View under this clause. The appropriate authorities will also be notified of the child's isolation.
